Biography
Pushpesh Pant is Assistant Professor of Operations at the School of Commerce, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Hyderabad. He has recently submitted his Ph.D. thesis from IIT Kharagpur. He has worked under the supervision of two leading researchers in their area: Prof. SP Sarmah (IIT Kharagpur, India) and Prof. Shantanu Dutta (University of Ottawa, Canada) during his Ph.D. tenure. He has published in the International Journal of Logistics Management (ABDC-A, SCI), Foreign Trade Review (ABS, Scopus), Technology and Disability (Scopus, PubMed), International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science (ISI). Professor Pant has also participated and presented papers in scholarly conferences.
Research Interest
Puspesh Pant’s research focuses on panel data modeling, empirical analysis, multivariate statistical modeling, supply chain finance, corporate governance, strategic management, machine learning, blockchain, artificial intelligence, technology forecasting, data mining.
Editorial Service
Professor Pant serves as an article editor and reviewer of Sage open Journal (SSCI, Scopus).
Software Skills
Professor Pant is proficient in data analysis software like Stata, Minitab, SPSS, and R. He has also worked extensively on secondary databases like Bloomberg, Prowess (CMIE), WIPO, IPIndia.
