Introduction
Dr Sankar received his PhD, Mphil and B.Ed from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. His PhD thesis titled "
Black Words in White Space: Convention Mediation and the Implied Reader of 19th Century African American Womens Slave Narratives” discuss about the dynamics of Writer and Editor in narrating and Documenting slave experience. His area of Specialisation includes Women/ Gender Studies, Narratology and Slave Narratives.

Prior to joining NMIMS, he taught Research Methodology, Functional English, Indian Writing in English, Gender Sensitisation, and Introduction to Philosophy for UG and PG students at Christ College Bangalore and ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad.

He is currently working on publishing his PhD thesis into a Book.
