About the Campus:

Our vision at NMIMS, Jadcherla Campus (Hyderabad) has been and continues to be, to provide the nation with good quality students who are industry ready and socially sensitive. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Jadcherla has been imbibing these human values across its various stakeholders through creation and spreading of knowledge in the field of management. Established in 2010, it is located in Jadcherla, which is close to State Capital: Hyderabad, started academic activities at Jadcherla Campus from AY 2018-19. It is a 90-acre (the biggest of NMIMS family) sprawling campus with fully residential world class facilities, a CBSE school & Olympic standard sports complex in 26 acres will be unique feature of the campus. The first institute in Hyderabad to promote comprehensive learning environment that will have tag line "KG-to-Doctorate” in one campus.

A glimpse of Life at Campus:

Students have been organizing the prestigious TEDx Event, Corporate Conclaves, CEO weeks, Model UN and regular guest lectures, Spic Macay musical concerts, independence-day celebrations and Coffees with Alumni. ‘We Care’ projects (known as Winter Internships) have been regarded very highly by social sector organizations in the city where students work with NGOs for conceiving / streamlining / implementing management best practices during their internship. Online e-newsletter MAGNUM has been news sharing platform for students group. Institute’s mega event ‘NIRVAHANA’, inter B-School festival is a premiere event in which attracts participation from other premier B-schools.

About the Program:

Our MBA program is AMBA accredited which is hallmark of world class academic environment in the campus. As Innovation is essential to achieve progress in the modern world, we enjoy the flexibility to quickly respond to rapidly changing global socio-economic conditions and efficiently adapt the best practices of leading business schools, as we go beyond the regular academic curricula with emphasis on practice. In NMIMS, we are doing things uniquely, continuously improving & reinventing Management program, bringing it closer to international MBAs. Electives & Specializations have been made choice based basket system, some electives are truly integrated in nature among various areas, thus, providing more choices to students to go for their interests. Students have more opportunities from action learning programs driven by case-study method, business simulation and value added workshops, live projects and certification programs etc. Value added workshops from varied areas help students to develop critical thinking, analytics, communication, project management and leadership skills.

Faculty:

All our teaching faculty are PhDs from institutes of stature or either finishing PhD completion modalities. We attract best talent from the Academia and Corporate to be our Professors. Most of our Professors partake research initiatives, training roles apart from full time teaching. This highly benefits the students as they get to learn cutting edge developments in the Industry. Our faculty both conduct / participate in in national & international conferences, workshops, training programmes, faculty development programs on regular basis to keep themselves abreast of latest happenings.

Program Structure:

First year courses are compulsory for all students. Second year contains a list of compulsory and elective courses. Electives are offered in Finance / Marketing / Operations & IT / HR / Analytics/ Strategy & General Management specializations. Students can choose to specialize only in one elective or take courses from multiple specializations across trimester 4,5,6. Program comprises of mandatory four week winter internship (We-care: Social outreach with NGOs) and two months of summer internship (to be physically carried out in company premises).

Program Outcomes:

At NMIMS, we groom the students such that the pass out student should be a well-grounded individual who is intellectually competent at decision making, adept at problem solving and analytical skills, at the same time, student is able to demonstrate social sensitivity and moral uprightness in their proceedings at workplace. In this context, program outcomes are crafted as follows:

At the end of the program, MBA graduate shall:

  3. Be capable of decision making (problem solving) in structured and unstructured environment 
  4. Be socially and ethically responsible managers
