Introduction:

Binay Kumar Rajak is an academic and researcher specializing in operations and supply chain management. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Business Management, NMIMS in Hyderabad, where he teaches courses like "Modelling and Optimization for Business Decisions." He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the IIT Kharagpur. His research focuses on cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain, particularly their applications in port logistics and freight transport, contributing to the development of Industry 4.0.

Binay has a strong academic foundation, with an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT Delhi and a B.Tech in Production Engineering from BIT Sindri. His scholarly work has been published in esteemed journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and the International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalisation. Beyond his research, he has a robust teaching portfolio, having previously taught at Manipal University Jaipur and NIMS University Jaipur. Binay’s work bridges the gap between academia and industry, as evidenced by his numerous collaborations and mentorship of student projects in Lean Six Sigma
