E-LIBRARY
Learning Resource Centre (LRC), home of the library services, is the knowledge hub of all academic activities at the NMIMS Hyderabad campus. The LRC proactively acquires and organizes information resources, in the areas of Pharmaceutical sciences and management to meet the present and future needs of budding pharmacist. Besides holding the best resources for the academic fraternity, LRC houses collection of books, magazines and DVDs for the students, faculty and staff. We utilize KOHA library management system for overall library management.
Currently the LRC has over 500 titles, 1500 books, 10 National Journals and 05 International journals available as hard copy and ready reference. Besides, we have over 200 CD/DVDs with educational, inspirational and motivational content with easy access to students. We also have access to databases like Science direct and SCOPUS which are mainly utilized for innovative teaching, learning and research. As a central facility we have seating capacity of 200 students at a time with uninterrupted Wi-Fi Access with computer facility.
The centre has utilized Information Technology extensively to ensure that resources are accessible from anywhere at any time.
E-Resources
Each student enrolled with SPTM is provided with access to many state of the art facility such as information about academic activities (Assignments given by Faculty), one click access to old examination papers and database access. Book Exhibitions
NMIMS libraries arrange book exhibitions twice in a year inviting dealers and publishers to display books for sale. Members can obtain resources at concessional rates during such exhibitions.
CAS (Current Awareness Service)
Every month, a list of additions to the library collection is displayed on the notice board and is also made available online.
