THE8RIC (2021-22)
Venue: Open Auditorium, Ground Floor, Academic Block
‘An evening with The8ric’ was organized on 27/02/2022 in the Jadcherla campus. The competition was based on dramatics that brought up the ‘actors’ in students. The In-Act competition was organized on an offline platform, being the first ever offline event of The8ric. This was followed by a Flash mob performed by the members of The8ric itself. The event came to an end by opening the floor up to the audience for dancing.
SPARTANS (2021-22)
1. I-CAN-CER-VIVE
Spartans conducted its first formal event on Cancer Day event i.e., 4th February, 2022 for the students of NMIMS Hyderabad to create awareness about this day via social media campaigns. The participants were given a day’s time to submit their campaign (post, poster, sketch, videos, podcast etc.) on 3rd February, 2022 wherein around 20 students registered and participated.
2. FITNESS WEEK
We also conducted a fitness week chain engagement event from 14th February to 20th February, 2022. Students across all schools of NMIMS Hyderabad participated in this event with a successful participation of 47 students. The event was about posting a 15 second fitness video and nominating friends encouraging them to do the same. Hence, it was a fitness event with an aim to bring people together and inspire them to make the changes. We also achieved a decent amount of recognition on SPARTANS official Instagram handle.
Entraprenaari (2021-22)
The Public Relations & Social Media Committee of SVKMs NMIMS Hyderabad has launched NMH-On-air – a podcast series that progresses with one central theme per month. The theme of February month is EntrePrenaari (Women Entrepreneurs). The following are the details of the podcasts for this month;

Acadmium of SVKMs NMIMS - Hyderabad published the first edition of "Mag- NM” – the monthly Gazette on 17/02/2022. The newsletter was launched by Honourable Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Meena Chintamaneni and our Campus Mentor, Mr. Amit B Sheth. The Committee has also organized
an Instagram live session titled "Preppin’ with the Professor” on 27/02/202, where Prof. Padmashree Radhaswamy guided and helped the MBA aspirants with tips and tactics of cracking WAT-PI with ease.
Shamiana (2021-22)

An evening under the stars was organized in the campus for all the students of NMIMS Hyderabad. The stage was set, and the lights were lit for the evening. A fun filled event where lots of games was organized like ‘Do the task”, ‘Enact” and stand-up comedy by our talented students. The speakers played the music for the soul, where the whole of the campus witnessed an open dance floor for all. Students were served with delicious food as well. An evening definitely to keep as one of your best memories.
Saraswati (2021-22)
Venue: Foyer area, Second Floor, Academic block
A day where we worship the Goddess Saraswati, Vasant Panchami, was celebrated to mark the first festival for the month of February, on 5th February 2022, for the students of NMIMS – Hyderabad. Students dressed up in color code yellow in ethnic, coming together to offer prayers to the Goddess Saraswati. Orientation cum Induction Program (2020-21)
6 Day Orientation cum Induction Program for B. Pharm. + MBA for academic Year 2020-21 was organised from 24/08/20 to 29/08/20. Dr. Sharad Mhaiskar, Pro Vice Chancellor, SVKM'S NMIMS, Dr. Jayant Gandhi, Honorary Jt. Secretary, SVKM and Mentor SPPSPTM, Dr. R.S. Gaud, Director SVKM’s Pharma Institutions, Dr. Bala Prabhakar, Dean, SPPSPTM, SVKM'S NMIMS, Dr. Ambikanandan Mishra, Director SPTM shirpur and Dr. Anil Pethe Associate Dean, SPTM Hyderabad welcomed all the students and parents and inspired the students with their motivational speech. All the new comers assured with quality education and comfortable student life. During the event, guest lectures and lectures of alumni is also conducted to motivate and brief the students about the pharmacy profession
Celebrations of World Pharmacist Day
World Pharmacist Day was celebrated at School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, SVKM'S NMIMS, Hyderabad campus on 25th September 2019. The event was grace by the presence of eminent personality Dr. P.V. Appaji, Director General Emeritus, Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexil) and Founder Director National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) Govt. of India. During his speech, he shared his professional experiences with the students and briefed them about the development of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry in the last 4 decades. He emphasized that, the students must be aware with the technological changes in the pharma field. The event was presided by Dr. Prithvi Yadav, Director and Dr. Anil Pethe, Associate Dean SPTM, NMIMS Hyderabad. The community pharmacist from the Jadcherla, Hyderabad were felicitated for their services to the society. The event was organized & coordinated by Dr. Kapil Kumar, Asst. Professor, SPTM Hyderabad. The debate competition on the topic ''Online Pharmacy: Boon or curse'' and poster competition on the theme of Pharmacist day was also organized. The event was supported and very well organized by extracurricular committee.
On occasion of Pharmacist day, the debate competition on the topic ''Online Pharmacy: Boon or curse'' was conducted. All B.Pharm MBA first year students were participated in the event and it was organized and coordinated by Dr. Rahul Maheshwari, Asst. Professor, SPTM. The prizes were given to the students with the hands of Chief guest.
Poster competition on the theme of ‘Safe and effective medicine for all’ on the occasion of Pharmacist day was organized and coordinated by Dr. Santosh Yele, Asst. Professor, SPTM. The prizes were given to the students with the hands of Chief guest.
Teachers Day Highlights-Dr Anil Pethe organized two-hour session on the occasion of Teachers Day for B.Pharm MBA First year students. Students were given topic one-week prior and were asked to deliver the oral presentations on 6/09/2019 on topic "Role of Teachers in one’s life”. The individual students referred the literature and delivered excellent presentations on the given topic. This exercise helped the students to do the literature survey and helped in improvement of their presentation skill.
Celebrations of Gandhi JayantiGandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October 2019 at SPTM, NMIMS Hyderabad campus to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of nation. On this occasion the walkathon was organized to spread the awareness about health benefits. The Walkathon was organized to support our Prime Minister’s mission of Fit India Movement. The students were actively participated in the 5 km Walkathon from our campus to L&T Campany gate in Polepalli SEZ.
After completion of the Walkathon students were gathered in the central foyer of the campus. The director of the campus addressed the students and given them pledged not to use plastics and kept the environment plastic free. The jute bags were also distributed to faculty, staff, and students to replace the use of plastic bags. On this occasion student has performed a skit play on national integration. The program ended by singing a National anthem.
AAYUDH Poojan and Laboratory InaugurationSPTM, Hyderabad celebrated Aayudh Poojan and formally inaugurated the Laboratories on the auspicious occasion of Khande Navmi. The purpose of this activity is to show reverence and adoration for laboratories, in which we work daily to train our students. Laboratories were inaugurated by the Campus Director, Dr. Prithvi Yadav, Dr. Anil Pethe, Associate Dean, SPTM Hyderabad. Aayudh Poojan was carried out by faculties of SPTM.
